The Premier League title race has been thrown wide open with Arsenal beating Chelsea, while Man Utd got back on track with a win over Man City.

Petr Cech has told stated that he is not concerned by speculation linking Chelsea players with a Stamford Bridge exit.

Striker Didier Drogba has been connected with a January reunion with former boss Jose Mourinho at Inter, while Joe Cole and Florent Malouda have also been the subject of speculation.

But Cech, who joined the Blues in 2004, believes the players mentioned will stay at Stamford Bridge.

“There is always speculation about people leaving and people arriving,” Cech told skysports.com.

“You always see in the transfer window what actually happens.

“I have been at Chelsea for more than four years. Every season, every transfer window, there is always (rumours of) 50 players coming in and 20 players leaving the club.

“I don’t get excited about any speculation.”

Meanwhile, Cech maintains that the Chelsea squad have no idea if manager Luiz Felipe Scolari’s plans to strengthen his squad in 2009.

“This is something that the manager has his own ideas about,” Cech said when asked about likely January signings.

“Usually as a player you are not told anything before it actually happens. We will see what the transfer window brings.”
