Francesco Guidolin has confirmed he has received an offer from Queens Park Rangers to become their new manager.

The Championship outfit are looking for a new manager following the sacking of John Gregory earlier this month and Guidolin is thought to be the front-runner for the post at Loftus Road.

The former Palermo coach was spotted at the recent win over Norwich, increasing speculation that he was in line for the vacancy.

Guidolin has now confirmed he has held talks with new Rangers owner Flavio Briatore over a possible move to London club.

“It’s true, I’ve met Briatore”, Guidolin told the Italian press. “But there is nothing definitive.

“Anyway I admit that I would be pleased to have a professional adventure in England.”
