Feyenoord have become the latest club to express an interest in signing the Liverpool centre-half Stephane Henchoz.

The Dutch club join Old Firm rivals Celtic and Rangers as well as Premiership clubs Bolton and Southampton, all of whom have expressed an interest in signing the Swiss international.

The 30-year-old defender told BBC Sport: “I still don’t know which club I’m going to join.

“My agent is still speaking with the various clubs and it all depends how those negotiations go.”

Rangers are desperate for a replacement for Jean-Alain Boumsong, who has moved to Newcastle for £8m. They are reported to have offered Henchoz and 18-monmth deal, while Feyenoord manager Ruud Gullit has showed his intent by offering the defender a two and a half year deal.
