Lazio coach Roberto Mancini dedicated his side’s 4-0 thrashing of Milan in the Coppa Italia to former president Sergio Cragnotti.

Cragnotti was arrested earlier in the week in connection with a bankruptcy inquiry.

“We dedicate this win to Cragnotti and hope he will solve his problems very soon,” said Mancini.

“We deserved to win against a big team, but now we must win the final, otherwise this result will be useless.’

Meanwhile, an angry Milan boss, Carlo Ancelotti, dismissedthe performances as an aberration.

“I’m so sorry the team performed like this,” Ancelotti said.

“I only hope this won’t be repeated.

“I think there are many things we must analyse. Anyway, I think it’s only a one-off and there won’t be any further problems.”
